Some Common Questions
MGB100 is a WiFi and Ethernet equipped hard disk enclosure suitable for
standard IDE 2.5" hard disk. It has USB port to allow backing up of data to
other USB hard disk or Memory Stick device.
Setup is extremely simple. It is so simple you can get it up and running in as little as 15 minutes! And it really works very well !

Following are notes for some specific common questions we have been asked
about.
Q: Can I check available and used disk capacity ? A: Yes. You can use Windows Explorer or use the Web Browser and please go to Status--> Device Information, and you will see how much disk space left on this HD.
Q: Can I use MGB100 as a USB Hard Disk ? A: No. Just use the Ethernet Port instead. The idea is that MGB100 has Ethernet Port for local access to
a PC or local LAN and also of course the wireless WiFi feature to transfer
data to and from MGB100. The MGB100
USB Ports can only be a USB "host" but not a USB device. So you can plug in
USB Memory sticks and also USB hard disks for backing up and accessing. We can supply you a
different model if you require a USB Hard Disk function also.
Q: Can MGB100 be used as a USB print Server ? A: No. this device can not support printer server function.
Q: Does MGB100 support WPA2 ? A: No. But it does support 64 and 128 bit WEP and also WPA with AES encryption, similar to
WPA2.
